Built on 13.56 MHz contactless technology, it supports ISO 14443 Type A & B, MIFARE®, FeliCa, and ISO/IEC 18092 NFC tags, making it an ideal solution for access control, e-Government, banking, healthcare, transportation, identity verification, and secure authentication.
Equipped with a built-in ISO 7816-compliant SAM (Secure Access Module) slot, the ACR1252U enhances security through key diversification and mutual authentication. The reader supports all three NFC operating modes—Reader/Writer, Card Emulation, and Peer-to-Peer Communication—offering maximum flexibility for NFC application development.
The ACR1252U is CCID and PC/SC compliant, ensuring seamless integration with Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, Solaris, and Windows CE. It also supports USB firmware upgrades, allowing future enhancements without hardware replacement. With FIDO authentication support, the reader enables secure passwordless login and strong two-factor authentication (2FA) using compatible NFC security keys such as YubiKey and PocketKey.
